Turn them off. Go to "run", type in "msconfig", click on the "startup" tab. Then uncheck the boxes of the items you don't want starting.

Listen mate, go to start un then type "msconfig" then go to startup icons then just uncheck all the icons. Only a few important icons such as ur antivirus will load at startup rest won't get loaded at startup.

type in the box
msconfig
click on
ok then click on the start up

untick what you dont want to start with windows
then click on servicse tab
un- tick what you dont want to have start up there to

then restart ur pc
and when your back at the desktop

if your os is xp type msconfig and goto startup tab .if os is not xp goto google and search for msconfig.
