Call your local Humane society, they are the cheapest. For shots too!

What do you mean the cheapest place? A cat has to be neutered by a vet. I seriously doubt that there are any 'black-market' cat neuter-ers! Call all the vets in town to get a price quote, and go to whoever is the most inexpensive. But, in reality, neutering is a serious surgery, and you should choose the vet wisely. There can be a lot of complications and saving a penny in the beginning by choosing a cheap, inexperienced vet may lead to expensive and even fatal problems in the end.

When you get a cat neutered, you really shouldn't be worried about money. I know this sounds stupid, but really. You definitely need to go to the vet. Otherwise, the cat can get badly infected. Make sure its done right. Good luck. :]

Try Spay USA or your local Humane Society/SPCA. Many offer low cost or even free spay/neuter to help reduce overpopulation. If you are not having any luck with those venues, try a google search for 'low cost spay and neuter' and something should pop up.

Some animal organizations will subsidize neutering if you can't afford it. Call places like the Human Society and ask about it.

My husband says that you can go to the ASPCA for free but you would have to give a small donation. Not sure if its true but you can call and find out.

You can only have this done at a vet. The SPCA will help with the cost.
