I have searched everywhere and I can only come up with recipies for 'Indonesian desserts'. I would like to know some traditional sweet food that they eat and some information on Indonesian sweet food that isnt in recipie format. For the person who gives me the best answer (with a source), I will strike up a deal with you...

Oh man, where to start. There are more than 20 provinces in Indonesia and each has at least 10 different signature sweet foods. I'm not sure if any of these are available in recipe format and for some of them I'm not even sure what they're made of, but... here goes:
- Putu (cylindrical rice flour cake with palm sugar filling, Malaysians call this putu piring)
- Klepon (Glutinous flour balls with palm sugar filling, usually sold with putu)
- Putu mayang (some kind of rice noodle in palm sugar soup)
- Biji salak (made out of sweet potato and tapioca flour in palm sugar soup)
- Kue cucur
- Ketan item (lightly sweetened black glutinous rice with coconut milk)
- Tape Ketan (fermented glutinous rice)
- Tape Singkong (fermented cassava, this and tape ketan is often made together)
- Kue lapis (multiple-layered sweet cake)
- Getuk Singkong (moist cassava cake with grated coconut)
- Bubur kacang hijau/merah (green bean or red bean cooked in palm sugar soup/syrup)
- Kolek (The contents of this dessert varies, but mostly cassava and sweet potato in palm sugar soup, some throws in pumpkin and red bean)
- Various ice desserts using cendol, jackfruit, avocado (yes, you read that right), agar-agar, coconut flesh, etc. The most popular one is called 'es campur'.

...Ok, now I'm depressed that I forgot the names of tons more. A lot of Indonesian desserts are similar to Malaysian's, but mostly with a different name. The Indonesian word for 'desserts' is 'pencuci mulut' or 'makanan penutup', so you might fare better using that search term. Since I obviously no longer remember the names of these stuff, I've posted some links which may help you.

I'm taking another trip to Indonesia two months from now, you might have just encouraged me to do a dessert exploration this time :P.
