Is not background checking a bogus excuse ??

By the way not only the mexicans are immigrants. They might be having their own reason ie work. There are others who come for work legally. Apply for greencard.bam..6 yr goes off.you are left with no greencard...a house that u hv to pay mortgage...a job that sucks but can not change because u dont have greencard...does not no greencard system a system to make slaves of the immigrants if some one is willing to...at least not all immigrants will be willing to undergo anything to get the stupid greencard...

well...we are following all immigration laws...thats why told not all immigrants are mexicans...if u really have a law as soon as a greencard within an year u should say approved / denied...immigrants care for US by continuing to stay even while not having the greencard...it should be the other way around too...

One year or so works if you are married to an American. anything else usually works its way up to 25 years. Right now INS is working on 1995 applicants if that is a hint. Another hint, if your job sucks, get a new one.

My now wife took less than two years to get her card.

The system is becoming bogged down with too many people wanting to come in. Not enough people to process the paperwork. The system sucks. But they are also trying to keep the country from being grossly overpopulated.

The best way is the legal way. it takes so long because 75% of all applicants lie that is why they have to do a back ground check on all people. what rude is you not following our Immigration laws.

The first part of your question is Because they have to do background checks among other things. 98% of mexico wants to come to the U.S. and to do this would, and is ruining our economy that is the only thing rude besides you people all running over here. Mexico has huge resourses, all the politicians, and people are corrupt, and exploiting your country instead of staying there and taking on the issues. The real rude part is running out on your country instead of fixing your problems. And when we try to stop it you cry and then call us "Gringo".
