It is the ONLY piece left that bears the full signature of Michaelangelo in The Vatican. Approximately a decade or so ago, a madman tried to destroy it, when it was out on full glory and display. I cannot seem to find an image of this and I have personal reasons that mean alot to me, for my asking. If anyone has, I'd be very grateful to you for your help. God Bless you!

The word is Pietá, Italian for "great pity". Google the words Michelangelo+Pietá and you will find online pictures that are really good of this and some of his other sculptures.

It's "Pieta." Here's the best image I could find. It's better than the Wikipedia image. The color is more true.
