I don't want Benny Hinn examples, since many of his "miracles" are faked.

My foster mother had a stroke and was left paralyzed on her left side. She couldn't walk and could barely talk. She went to a 'healing and deliverance' service at church one night and received prayer for her healing. I witnessed with my own eyes the power of God heal her body!! She walked out of the church!! (more like leaping and running, because she had be in that state for 3 months). She was crying and giving God praise all the way home!!! She would tell her testimony to any one who was willing to hear it. She would always say.....God can do the impossible!!!

God does heal, but God's healing power is not some sideshow. I have known of a person who was miraculously cured of a brain tumor. A lot of people prayed, and God decided to answer the prayer in a miraculous manner. However, that seems to be the exception, not the rule. He heals to further His kingdom, not because He is obliged to do our bidding. I have known of no true healing that took place in true Benny Hinn fashion.

Anything that you've seen is either faked or is pschosomatic.

Hinn is a money hungry, arrogant fraud! He is the worst of the lot. I'm certain he'll be the next televangelist to go down in flames like Swaggart and Baker.

all of his "miracles" are fake! 100% and he even came out and said they were but when he saw his income wasn't doing too good he went back to preforming "miracles" again! LOL! true story!
actually, I haven't known anyone personally that was healed at any crusades or revivals.. but I do know people who have been healed simply by praying and asking for prayer. my father had emphysema and wasn't suppose to live past the age of 40, he is almost 70 now. and his lungs are perfect. even the doctors can't explain it.

Yes, I hopped in on crutches to one of our Friday night services. (I had sprained my ankle the day before.) As service went on, my ankle stopped aching and I was able to walk out w/o the crutches.

My nephew, age 10, needed surgery for a hernia in his belly. After the pre-surgery dr appt, we got together and prayed. The next day when he went to the hospital for the surgery the hernia was gone.

My husband's uncle had been diagnosed with AIDS, Hepatitis, and TB. They gave him 4 months to live. We prayed with him. That was 10 years ago. He's well enough to drive around and live a regular life. He has even helped us remodel our home.

==>And to respond to some of the previous posters: not all Christians are the same. We have to make sure that we don't make generalized sweeping comments. My husband and I pastor a congregation and we neither ram our beliefs down other people's throats nor do we get paid for pastoring.

Miracles are religious trickery, and they're all fake for goodness sake. For far too long we have been inundated with religious preachers knocking on doors, screaming on street corners, babbling in church, and worst of all, using TV to ram their beliefs down our throats and those of our children. Prophets or profits? I think the answer is obvious. Hands raised upwards, then into the pockets, let’s give money money money.

A little old lady comes on stage, push her forehead, she falls over and low and behold, she’s cured of her mental and physical woes. Hands raised again, yep you’re on to it, let’s give more money money money. Check out the preachers shiny white teeth as they count their gold.

Here’s the truth. Sam has a lunatic in his head, crippled legs, done his bit for the country, but Sam manages to come on stage smiling, gets pushed over, falls flat on his rear end and he’s still got a lunatic in his head, and he’s still a cripple. Guess what, no money money money. That’s the real truth. All of the magic cures are just fake stage plays, and they do it for money, money, money.

Christians are below average intelligence and tend to be very gullible, that's why when a fence pole or a cheese sandwich has an imprint that looks like a religious face, such as God or Our Lady, millions will flock to the spot and worship. It's also known as sheep to the slaughter syndrome.

Just watch what happens when a magic trick occurs, for example, the fence pole or cheese sandwich image starts to weep. Just watch how the flock of followers behave. People find it hard to accept reality so escape into fantasy and that’s what religion satisfies. Miracles are all in the mind and are nothing more than trickery.

Hidden camera stories have been done on healer/evangelists. They have people fill out questionaires and they have plants in the audience before the show, who listen to the people talking and they take notes back with them. The "healer" has a piece in his ear, and the people with notes tell him who to look for and what problem they have. Also, they have fake sick people planted in the audience and use them in the show as being "healed"

Back in the 60s, in Los Angeles, I attended Kathryn Khulman meetings. Saw many healed. Or at least they acted like they were healed. God still heals.
