to sleep over and spend a week at my girlfriends house. I would like to know if this is a great idea of letting her x-boyfriend who is her best friend sleep over.

He is trying to make you feel uncomfortable on purpose. Tell your girlfriend you trust her but you do not trust his intentions are honorable. If possible find a way for you to be there and do damage control. He might be trying to rekindle their old romance if he misses having her as his girlfriend.

You both have been seeing each other for TWO WEEKS and already you want sex? I'm not gonna sit here and say "your too young for that" knowing that I was around your age when I started having sex , but I'll say that it's really stupid to start thinking about sex when it's just been two weeks already. Your a smart girl though, you think before you take actions and I like that. I'll be honest with you and say "don't do it". You want to lose your virginity to someone who will make the moment last, someone that after years have past you'll smile thinking that you've made a good choice. Atleaste if your going to do it, wait a couple of months until you really know this guy. Two weeks is too early to know anything about him. What ever you do, make sure you make the right decision!

Hrmm...hard question. If I were basing it on my own experience, I would say go ahead and let her ex stay the week. My exboyfirend is my best friend, we have known each other over a decade, and I can honestly say that he could spend the night, week, months, you get the pciture and I would never feel compelled to sleep with him.

But some factors to consider:

Was their break-up recent? ( i.e. could there still be something left unsaid )
What are the circumstances? (i.e. is he in dire need of a place to stay, or is this just on a whim?)
How will/did your girlfriend react when you admit your unease at her ex spending the night at her house? ( i.e. exactly how much do you trust her..and vice versa)

Either way it's going to be a challenge in your realtionship. To allow it says to her "Yes I love AND trust you, I know that you only want to be with me." but it also leaves room for you to possibly be hurt if she in fact decides to abuse said trust.

My final advice TALK about it, be super honest, something like this, well I would think that she would understand your misgivings about it. What would her reaction be if the situation were reversed?
And what is your realtionship like with him, is he a friend to you as well, or just simply "the ex"?

Best of luck with this test on love.

Wow! that's a tough one. It's not a GREAT idea in your perspective because you are the current boyfriend. Do you trust her enough? That's really the question. If you trust her enough that she won't cheat on you with him, then I guess it's ok. But if you don't trust her, then you guys should not be together in the first place because trust is an important factor in a relationship. I would flip out myself if I was in your situation, but I trust my partner and even if in my gut I'm fuming mad, I know nothing will happen between them.

Absolutely not. And don't try to let her convince you either. If she really wants to be with you, then she won't risk it by upsetting you by spending the week with him alone. If he's visiting from out of town, he can stay for the weekend with you there.

No boyfriend or girlfriend should be OK with this scenario. It spells too much trouble.

The 'x'-factor maybe a hoax. Your girlfriend is bullying everyone saying her boyfriend is an ex. Or they're maybe going with a different gameplan that you won't understand.
