like i start flirting i make the initial contact she responds in a positive way now why cant she make the next move why must the guy do the work 95% of the time i only ask this b/c i am extremely shy plz give me an answer

It's because of the same reason YOU don't want to do it... We're shy (or at least the majority of us). It just takes us longer to work up the guts to ask a guy out.

Because the girl may be shy too.
Because the girl may not really know your signal to like her.
Just tell her straight out you like her and would like to get to know her better.
If you don't have a clue what to do beyond that, then you shouldn't pursue the girl. Treat her like a human being, and maybe that will help.

We can, but sometimes we get just as shy or aren't sure if you are interested in that way, or, we just might like the type of attention/flirtation we are getting at that moment (we like feeling wanted and pursued).

well girls like to be chased it makes us feel important in a way we feel if a guy takes his time to get to know us and go after us then he really wants to be with us. plus girls like guys who take control and show dominance in a relationship its just about being the alpha male

because she isnt sure if you like her just that much you know? haha.. you answered my question but im still confused. but i get what your asking here. so yes.. its because you need to show more intrest, and see if the girls busy because sometimes she just doesnt have that much time... not to say you arent important but when people are busy they tend to put things aside.. unless they feel that you actually mean it.. yadawhatimean?

B/c we are shy usually & we think that if we did the first move ourself then the guy will think that it's un feminen well... it's a gurls thing!!

because women are made to be persued. period. men are made to persue. to chase, to acquire an amazing woman whom he adores and loves and treats with the utmost highest respect. you may be shy, but i'm sure any girl (any girl who isnt a feminist rights advocate) will never NOT want someone to come and sweep her off her feet. it sounds really stupid to be like, yeah, dude, this girl, she's awesome, she like, totally swept me off my feet. yeah.
