For as long as i can remember i have been suicidal. I feel like i have done it a million times just not realized it. I seems like my family would only miss me if i was dead or gone somewhere for a long time. but when im around the only one that treats me with respect is my mom.
But i have noticed that whenever i smoke marijuana those feelings disapear usually for a couple days or so. but when everyone is like dude, weed is bad for you, i stop and months later all i can think about is suicide. Marijuan for me, honestly, makes me insane smart, especially when i smoke it like every two or three days. but then after i quit for a month or so im back in suicideville. And the only thing keeping me here is my mom and weed. Is that weird. not even my friends keep me here. i just want to leave and wake up in another dream and forget all this stuff that is in my head.

Well... I hate to be the one to tell you this, but eventually the weed will stop working.
You'll no doubt look for something else to replace it... and that will stop working too.
The problem can't be solved through "medicating".
You need to see a therapist or something before it gets worse.

I love this question, its so true. Most people are so wound up today with work and everything else and there stressing out. If everyone smoked it the world would be such a happier place. Weed isn't bad, ill admit it Ive done it before. I was so happy. And plus there's only one down side, getting caught, it doesn't cause lung cancer, its not super addictive as everyone says it is. I think you will only get addicted if you smoke it about once every day for about 2 or 3 months. But those would be the best 2 to 3 months ever. It should be legalized, i mean come on! anyone in this world would rather be high then drunk.

Okay, I understand what you say. Yes, the marijuana is a like a painkiller. It has painkilling property as a drug.
But I want to give you an advice. What I see from what you wrote is a cycle. You have problems within your family, and you feel depressed, so you smoke weed. And you get away with it, and you do it again.
Remember, smoking weed is only the temporary solution just to escape the pain. I recommend you seeing a counselor and/or a psychiatrist.
VERY IMPORTANT! The marijuana has notorious side effect of making people depressed... The weed affects to your brain in a way that you feel dull and senseless in your daily life, and gives a "loss of motivation" syndrom.
I think one of the reasons why you get depressed and sucidal frequently is the smoking weed. It makes you feel tired, and you loose interest on physical activities.
Good luck with you, and visit a docter.

I used to smoke a weed every single night. For a while, it would help me relax and I would feel great thinking about random stuff. Recently though, when I'm high, I start questioning my life and the things I do and feel like all those things are stupid (like buying stuff that i dont need) but when I'm sober, I think of it as a good pass time and find nothing wrong with them!
You say yoour mom is the only person who treats you with respect. Think about how much you'd be hurting her if you did something stupid like killing yourself!

Weed is a downer. It's good for cancer patients - that's all. Perhaps you could come outside of yourself and become a help to someone who needs help. Positive thinking is difficult when you're suicidal but here are a few books that might help.
Susan Shumsky - Miracle Prayer
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer -You'll See It When You Believe It
Joseph Murphy - The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
Good Luck!

The weed is actually making you want to kill yourself. Weed depresses you. Before I smoked weed I was well adjusted, somewhat happy, never suicidal. Then when I started smoking weed, I thought it made me happy but in reality I was miserable. I started having panic attacks, would get insanely depressed, and according to my family I was a raging *****. I'd smoke weed to feel better.. but I realized it was temporary, and it was making it worse. Quit the weed, and see a counselor. I just started seeing one and it's really helping. Good luck.

Medicinal weed is only good for people with terminal cancer in severe pain. The health risks to the lungs outweigh the benefits derived from the drug. It is not good for any psychiatric or psychological problem. Professional help is the best answer.

The weed is just giving you a high. Somehow it makes you feel better- but see a therapist or a doctor or something instead!!!! trust me you'll be MUCH better off in the long run
remember that you do have value as a person. killing yourself is not the answer.

You are self-medicating. You should go to a doctor and find a good treatment that has long-lasting success for you. There are medications that can help you. Go to therapy as well to find the root of your discontent.
Remember, you are here for the duration. Make the best of your life!

It might help, but it's not good for you.I use to smoke years ago, the key word here is USE TO. I don't know more, and I'm glad. I'd suggest getting a prescription to PAXIL and trying out this book:
THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING by Norman Vincent Peale.
