I work mostly with goddess but sometimes when I need a male aspect I turn to Apollo. Everything in balance.
Besides Thor isn't more violent than any other god out there.

I haven't heard of guy witches worshipping thor, but I know some people worship the male aspect of the all. Some only worship the female.

That is a very broad generalization. There are females that also work with Thor. There are Witches that don't work with that pantheon at all.
Many Gods have been known to get a bit testy.
The following link can provide you with information about Thor if you are interested.

thor's considerably less violent than the god of the old testament, and, generally, on the side of "right" (they made a superhero out of 'im, even!) - he fights against thieving giants, and the attempted destruction of earth by the midgard serpent (a battle in which he dies or will die, depending on your dating of gotterdammerung). beyond this, not ALL guy witches worship thor.

I don't think that Thor is any more violent than many other gods or goddesses. My hubby's main deity is the Morrigan who in one aspect (Badb) is a blood-thirsty war goddess, yet hubby is gentle as a lamb.
