Ok here is the deal. I am a smoker who really does not enjoy it. i hate how my breath, clothes and hair smells when i have a cig. I am slowly trying to cut down, but when i dont have a smoke i get these very bad headaches and become a major ***** because of it. I think these headaches is what keeps me having a smoke. Is there anybody out there who has had this problem? any ideas on how to get rid of these headaches without having to have another cig to stop them?

i quit cold turkey...didn't have one for a year and a half...started again (my husband is in iraq.....give me a break.....)

and have once again quit. this time i got the headaches. i just powered through them keeping a goal in mind. i hear after two days of no cig. the nicotine is out of your system....its just breaking the habit....and that is the tough part. i had to find a way to occupy the time i would have spent smoking with something else....

excedrine migrane has caffine in it and may help your headaches better than anything else...

good luck

get feverfew, a herb, take one everyday. the other is you are terribly addicted to nicotine- just stop 1 cigarette every 10 days and if need be get the reducing nicotine patch, but 1 cig. at a time is best. take b complex too
