The Bible is prophetically, scientifically, and archaelogically correct. People still refute it as false. Interesting, isn't it?

What the hell are you talking about, Columbus wasn't in the Bible. There weren't any references to jet stream, ocean currents, or hydrologic cycles in the Bible. The Bible wasn't a scientific text or an engineering book. If it was we would have had iPods and PC's and video games a long time ago and none of that "Lions Eating Christians In the Coliseum Tonight" bill boards. Get real. Stick to love thy neighbor and go start some sectarian war.

The earth is not suspended in space!
The sun does not rise and set.
The world was created and on the third day there was light, so without the sun, how long were those first 3 days?
If Noah had 2 of every animal on his ark and there has been no evolution, the how did he get the blue-footed boobies from the Galapagos Islands and the kangaroos from Australia? It would have taken him all his life to collect 2 of every animal and every insect that populate the earth, IF he had the means to travel all over the world.
I believe the Bible is teaching us truths if we will look at them carefully.God sent us His words to be considered in love.Do not pick them apart, but see the total picture.

This falls into the same logical trap as the stories about Nostradamus's predictions being "fulfilled." You see, both the "amazing" connections to between the Bible and scientific discoveries and historic events and Nostradamus are always noted AFTER the discovery or event has occured. Neither the Bible nor Nostradamus were used to PREDICT or DISCOVER those things which they are told to contain. This common logical fallacy happens because you are using a limited set of data, the Bible, and trying to match it to a massive collection of continually growing data. Of course you'll be able to find some connection in that mountain of data to match to your limited text, particularly if you are using metaphors as vague as the Bible's which require "interpretation" to discover. If the Bible is written by God and therefore holds the mysteries of the universe you should be able to predict the next set of great scientific discoveries.

The Bible is FALSE!!!!!!!
"As the sun ... goeth forth in his might."
The sun, according to the bible, goes around the earth.
Judges 5:31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
The sun moves around the earth.
According to the bible the earth rests on pillars:
1 Samuel 2:8
The pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
The earth rests upon pillars and doesn't move (unless God gets angry).
Job 9:6
Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
"Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not."
The earth is fixed and the sun travels about it.
Job 9:7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
According to the bible "The earth ... shall be stable, that it be not moved." It doesn't spin on its axis or travel about the sun.
16:30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
The earth is set on foundations and does not move.
Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Psalm 19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

You want to know why? this is one of the million reasons I have:
Galileo Galilei: 1610
Published the findings above in a book called Sidereus Nuncius (The Sidereal Messenger). These findings were strong evidence supporting heliocentrism (Sun-centered universe) which was, at the time, against the teachings of the Bible and the Catholic Church. Galileo was then warned by the church not to teach heliocentrism as fact, only as a theory.

First of all the bible was written much more than 1000 years before Columbus and secondly you can interpret the bible anyway you want which is why there are so many christian sects who hate each other.

And Job 9:6 says: "Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble."
So even Job contradicts itself.
And note that just a few verses after the one you quote, Job 26:11 says: "The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof."
Come on, the language of the bible is all metaphor and allegory and as a source of science its wrong far more than it is right.

Except, here's the thing - earth isn't "suspended" in space. Do you know what suspend means?
"1. to hang by attachment to something above: to suspend a chandelier from the ceiling.
2. to attach so as to allow free movement: to suspend a door on a hinge.
3. to keep from falling, sinking, forming a deposit, etc., as if by hanging: to suspend solid particles in a liquid."

Earth isn't suspended; Earth is actually in freefall. That's a scientific fact.
You'll find that the case is similar with all other "biblical science" claims. They're based on whimsical interpretations of the bible and misunderstandings of science.

Yeah? Quote the statements that make these assertions, why don't you? You've taken them to mean that, because you want them to seem prophetic. The bible never said "the earth is suspended in space". You want to see the statements as references to modern knowledge, so you do. But they aren't.
