if somebody buys you a gift, and you know it is from bad money, but it would hurt there feeling not to wear it, is it haram to wear it?

I am not muslim, however, I would say that very likely, it would be haraam. You would know that the person had commited an offense to obtain the money, and by accepting the gift, you would be validating their improper attainment of the money. In short, you'd be an 'accessory to the crime'. Hurting their feelings might correct their attitude and thus prevent further error. One might say even that this constitutes a DUTY to reject the gift.
My best guess on my understanding of the Quran, for whatever it might be of value to you.

If I know for certain, I mean 100% unlawful money... No, I wouldn't wear it. Sounds harsh but the gift loses it's merit when it's bought with haraam money. It's good dawah to the person who's giving it. Maybe they think of earning money lawfully if they see loved /dear ones silent protest of their unlawful acts. You don't want to take a part in encouraging these acts by accepting it, as you'd be involved in sinning too.

call it what you want but why would you wear what you call a "gift" bought with bad money now do that make sense

Yes it would be haram to wear it..you cannot do something wrong to spare someones feelings. they will get over it...
