i strongly desagree with the theory of intelligent design
here is why
the logic of intelligent design says that certain things such as the eye, dna, the universe and the human mind are all to complex to have appeared randomly, and seem to suggest a creator
let us imagine that anything above the line is so complex it requires a creator and as you go higher above the line, things get more complex

the universe(galaxies stars etc)
human brain
the eye
and others
___________________________

Would not both logic and the bible tell us that god is more complex than us?
Thus we could draw the following chart

the universe god
the human brain
eye
other
__________________________

where is god in relation to the line????
can we not also then draw the following chart

creator #2
the universe god
human brain
eye
and others
__________________________

is this chart not direclty contradictory to christianity?
plz dont get mad this is a srious ?

srry guys this was rather confusing
1. i am suggesting that there must have been a god to create a god, at least according to id
2. some parts of my charts read like this
universe god
where as they should read like this
universe, and god
i did not know whether to put one higher or lower so i put them on the same level

I agree.
Intelligent design contradicts Christianity.
It implies that God himself was intelligently designed. Which cannot be.
Also Intelligent design contradicts scientific observation. And why would God decisive us by leaving false clues?
Should not every christian look at what the science has achieved and say: "Praise the lord for he has given us such marvels of science". And should not Christians says when faced with evolution: "Praise the Lord for he created a beautifully way to create humans and other species"?

It is a good question.
You've lapsed into infinite regression. It's a round about way to attempt to debunk the cosmological argument for the existence of God. The answer is an un-caused, cause that created is needed for anything to exist. All things in the natural world and universe are contingent. The universe is contingent. According to the laws of thermodynamics the universe is decaying. Therefore an eternal creator (a self sufficient creator which is of course eternal - without beginning nor end) is required for anything to exist.

There are better arguments against than that which you seem to state in your question. However I lean on the theist side. It lines up closer to reality than the atheist side.

The eye is not to complex. Parts of the eye are useful for other actions. Example: Light sensitive nerves.

The human brain is also not to complex for the same reason.

Go to the secular web and do a search for Behe. It will give you more information than I could type here.

I totally agree with you. Organised (English spelling) religion is finding it harder and harder to compete against commonsense, logic and science, especially now that the Internet presents information and discoveries so quickly for people to review.

The number of people who no longer believe in religion is growing at a rapid rate, and the Intelligent Design strategy came out in order to compete against logic. Sounds scientific, but it's just more religious trickery, in much the same way as the Bible has been changed so many times to keep up the illusion that God exists.

For example: The Bible is trash.

The Bible is the biggest load of garbage and codswallop ever written by man, and I’m sure it will go down in history as the greatest load of gobbledygook ever to inflict such traumatic mental and physical damage on humanity, but still today, some people sadly believe the Bible to be true. That’s very sad indeed. Very sad.

When people quote various passages from the Bible, for example ...

Mathew 5:29-30 God encouraged self-mutilation.
Isaiah 13:15-18 God allowed women raped and little children slaughtered.
Genesis 6:11-17 and 7:11-24 God is the greatest mass murder in history.

What happens? Religious people pop up from under every stone with the same old garbage. “That was the old Bible, or we’ve changed the meaning, or wrong interpretation, or we’ve changed the context, or the quotes are out of context or or or, excuse after excuse.”

The fact is, they are Bible quotes, and the Bible is full of evil atrocities which religious people continually cover up, yet seem happy to drum into the minds of gullible little children. This is such a shameful disgrace in a civilised world.

If religious people are unable to apply commonsense and logic to develop a simple moral code to live by, then perhaps they could strip out of the Bible the evil, murders, rapes, abuse, and all traumatic references. Granted there will not be a lot left to read, but at least religious people may end up with a decent moral code to follow based on good, and not scare the living daylights out of innocent little children.

ID is a fallacy. Everything has a beginning, but God IS the beginning. The alpha and the omega. THE beginning, and THE end.
How can primordial ooze create the one sun that every body sees? It has been there before man was even here, yet no one is trying to say that it doesn't exist, and yet they can't say an eternal flame that has been in the sky for year's and hasn't burned out yet, was created by some primordial ooze either.

Of course ID is real! everyone knows the Flying Spaghetti Monster created heaven with a stripper factory and a beer volcano, and earth with mountains, trees, and a migit. And if they don't, then they should.

God did not create himself. At least that's what I think you're saying. I don't quite understand the question but I would love to correspond with you through email if you want. m_ryan_a@yahoo.com

God is the uncreated being. He is not bound by time and space. Matter has to be created, God is spirit, and therefore, does not need a "creator".
