I like to use Aussie scrunch spray. That works well on dry hair or blow dry till your hair's almost dry and then spray it on and scrunch it with your fingers. I have straight hair, so sometimes I use Wash 'n Curl shampoo and then the scrunch spray. It doesn't make it curly, but you can scrunch it the way you want it.

When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair a little and then put gel in your hands and scrunch your hair. If you use enough gel you can then just let your hair air dry and you will get a nice scrunched look.

I don't know exactly what you mean by scrunched up, but you could take a shower at night, braid your hair, then wake up in the morning and untie your braid. Using mousse on your hair and scrunching up your hair as well plus the effect the braids do should do the work.

You have to have naturally curly hair or a perm to scrunch it and use mousse or a curling cream(not one that's putty like)and if you don't have curly hair then it won't look good 10 minutes later so I'd only try it on a weekend.

Use mousse or spray gel, and scrunchup your hair while blow drying it.
