1. Keep them away from sugar
2. Wear the little buggers out
3. ALWAYS follow through on threats
4. Enforced silence can be effective, though making it into a game or competition usually works better (e.g. I bet Adam can stay quiter than you, Johnny). You'd be amazed at how stimulating competition between siblings can work for you, especially if there is both a reward for the winner and a penalty for the loser
5. Visit your local "Adult Products" store and pick up ball-gags and handcuffs. A bit medieval, but effective nonetheless
6. Hungry Rottweilers
7. Those dog collars that deliver electric shocks based on noise
8. Video their behaviour and show it to the parents
9. Nail their hands and feet to a door. Can get noisy and messy, but guaranteed to stop them farting on you. May shorten your babysitting career

When they act up, you need to give them an immediate consequence. When they find out you mean business, they will straighten up. (Chances are they don't get disciplined enough by their parents.) The movie should have been stopped and the farting one should have been sent for a time out. If they are fighting, they both need a time out in separate places. If you are the babysitter, you need to be an authority figure. If they continue to refuse to do what you tell them, you should stop babysitting for them.

Must be boys, right? Kids do that for attention. Maybe they were bored already. You have to understand that because so many children watch television, that it has ruined their ability to have attention. What do they see on t.v.? A program is on and it constantly goes to commercials, right? They are constantly viewing things on t.v. that is changing almost every 5 minutes. Stop the movie, give them a chance to get out their hyperness and then resume the movie.

You can't stop the hyperness (unless you relentlessly drug the kids), it's like a raging river..you can only focus their energy (like in a dam) The first step is to let it have free expression.
You went wrong by showing a movie, you should have done an activity like a sport or something. Focus his energy until he is tired, then encourage him to expend some more energy. Shortly, he'll be asking YOU if he can go to sleep..

Nope, you have have been given no longer something to agonize approximately. A ton of fellows initiate masturbating while they are truly youthful, even 9! It basically relies upon on how briskly a guy starts maturing. it truly is not risky in any respect, and neither is masturbating on a daily basis. If it grew to become into, a number of adult adult males may well be out of nice fortune!

That's what they do. Any preteen loves the sound of their own voice and farting.
If you want them to stop I would suggest drugging them. Slip them a couple Benedryl caplets in their food.
Just kidding, there is nothing you can do besides constantly tell them to stop being hype, or you will tell their parents that they farted on you and were absolutely obnoxious.

My son used to be extremely hyper, and I'd make him {when he got in trouble} just sit down on the couch and not do anything. And he hated that that seemed to work for me the best.

You are in charge and need to explain that that type of behavior is not o.k. with you. they are testing your limits and theirs. set down rule, and give privelages. be "cool" but know your boundries. they will follow.

Talk to their parents. No baby sitter should have to take that kind of abuse.
