Lets say you have an 11year old daughter who was raped and found out that she then got pregnante, would you let her have an abortion? Would you tell her she was pregnante. What if she didn't want to be preg, and have a baby?

I know that you are always going to feel poorly about her being raped. People make mistakes. You may trust the wrong perosn. It happens.
As sad as it seems I would not tell my daughter and I would have her get an abortion.
At 11 it is way to young to even consider growing, and giving birth to a baby. It might even kill her. As long as she does not know that she is pregnant I would not tell her.
It sounds really harsh. Really harsh.. but I feel personally that It would be in the best interests of the child.
If sometime in the future she discovers the truth... dont lie to her. Tell her the truth and tell her why you made your decisions. But if she doesnt ask..dont admit.
I know that feelings of guilt will last a long time.. maybe untill the end of time But this is the best decision now.
Dont tell her, have an abortion. She is still just a child herself.

Hard to say. I hope this isn't a true scenario for you.
I would take her out of school til she was done with pregnancy and I would adopt the baby out. That would be my plan, however, I may become attached and want to keep it to raise for her. But that really puts her in a situation when she gets old enough to realize what's up. So adopting the baby out would be the right thing. The daughter didn't ask to be raped, obviously, but that baby didn't ask to be killed either. God has a reason for everything. People have free will to choose what we do with ourselves, and abortion shouldn't be a choice. Do what you feel, but adoption would be the best answer in my book.

If my 11 yr old daughter was raped, she would have been taken to the hospital immediately, received a day after pill, and immediate counseling. With the DNA samples taken with the rape kit - her assailant would be spending a long time in jail.
At the age of 11, there is NO way in hell that a good mother wouldn't be able to tell.

Oh my, this is a tough situation that you're in, but if it were me, I would let my daughter know that it is not her fault, that you're not upset at her, and then talk to her and let her know that she needs to make a decision. hopefully an 11 year old wouldn't want to have a baby, now I don't believe in abortions to an extent, and this is a situation where i would allow it. if my daughter did want to have it, then i would adopt it from her once she was born, and if she didn't want to have it, then i would allow her to get the abortion.

I do not believe in abortion.The only way i would ever consider it or approve of it is a situation of rape.If she was forced to have unwanted sex she should'nt have to have the baby.That would be up to her but at 11 she is still a baby herself so i would support her w/abortion or raising her child.No one should ever have to go through that.What kind of sick Bastard would do that to a child??

11 years old is to young to really know what she wants. That is a double edge sword there. This is one of those decisions that will effect her the rest of her life. You should talk to her , and also to her doctor. Her body may not be ready for childbearing and could do her more harm.

That's a tough question. At 11yrs, old, she's way too young for a baby. To be honest with you I don't know what I would do..Sorry I'm not much help to ya. but that is something you and her have to decide on. Sorry.

Rather than asking people on yahoo answers, I would find a counselor and talk to them about the rape and the pregnancy. They can help you decide what is best.

Oh no. She's too young! I'm totally against abortion. But this is not good. I have a 10 year old, so I know what I would do... I wouldn't tell her, and do as you said, but it would totally haunt me for the rest of my memory....

WOW that is a crappy predicament, well, it's not her fault first of all, and second, if she decides she wants to go through with the pregnancy, she needs to decide if she wants to give it up, or let you legally adopt it..
But also ,even if she is young it has to be her choice, it's her body..
