To find out your type, go donate at your local blood bank. They'll tell you when it's safe to donate again. When you go donate back, just ask them, or if you don't want to donate again, just call and ask them. BTW, they test the blood for diseases when you donate, but when they ask you the question if that's why you want to donate, say NO. They won't let you donate if you say you're donating just to find out.

Yes Natasha, you're right.
It means I'm negative for the RH factor.
Most people want it if they're bleeding to death, unless it's against their religion.
But you're wrong,it is the universal donor. I have many years experience with blood products. I work in a dialysis unit and I have to hang blood for tranfusions quiet frequently.

Yes, you are right. The universal donor is O Negative, as it does not contain the Rhesus factor. I myself, am A positive, and a registered nurse also.

PS, Natasha is wrong. O Positive blood can only be received by individuals who have positive blood: O positive, B postitive, A positive, and AB positive. You cannot give O positive blood to a person who is Rh negative, otherwise that person will have a serious blood reaction. O negative, on the other hand can be given to anyone: O positive, O negative; A positive, A negative, B positive, B negative; AB positive, AB negative, since the absence of the Rh factor lessens the chance of blood reaction, that's why it is the Universal Donor. Anyway, why am I telling you this, you are a nurse, you know already.

based on the descriptions and my truthful determination [usually biased] I fit AB and O with not one of the negatives although my self assurance may well be perceived for conceitedness sunlight - Aquarius Moon - Aries returned bias from determination :/.... human beings pick what they pick and it can't be the certainty additionally basically 4 types... Dunno my easily blood style :/... yet i does no longer be taken aback if it grew to become into AB or O... even though it is 50% threat blended If I had to slot each to a factor O = hearth or Water B = hearth + Sag + Pisces according to threat Water AB = Air or Earth easily A = Earth... particularly Virgo.... additionally fastened indications and Water indications, probable fastened Water too those descriptions are somewhat too a great number of each sign and not no longer uncomplicated under pressure right into a sparkling determination yet returned like the previous question i might say if somebody had like a setup with maximum cancers sunlight Scorpio moon and a great number of water without Air and then "have been given" [chosen] Sanguine... i may well be like duuuuuuuuuuuude.............BS!!!!!!!!!!... Liar!! in contrast to different persons i'm no longer politically splendid, i'm truthful... And astrologers do in contrast to working backwards, or asserting an illustration is not extra of "this, or 'that" ... I have not got any interest in doing that particularly if it truly is the certainty....

I found out when I was pregnant Im A negative.
The RH factor is kinda freaky..apparently having negative blood I am prone to that during pregnancy.

I would like to dontate blood but I dont think that I can due to the fact that I have tattoos and peircings.
Unless it was an upmost emergency I guess.

O positive... and you are right.... O negative is considered the universal donor and AB positive would be considered the universal recipient. I've been an RN for 25 years.

Even if you know your blood type , and even in an emergency the hospital is still required to check your blood type before giving you any. They cant just take your word for it.

No. I wish I did though. Since you're an RN, how can I found out. Are there any documents I can check?
