This is interesting! What sorts of signs are you seeing that you're ovulating? Temperature changes, pain in your abdomen, a positive on an ovulation detection kit?

If you're ovulating, unless there's a complication of some sort, theoretically you can get pregnant. I say "theoretically" because I recently read up on menopause and it looks like there's a long stretch of time when women can ovulate but the quality of their eggs has degraded to the point where they're much, much less likely to get pregnant than younger women.

In your case, I did some poking around on the web (I searched on "period no ovulation") and the sites I looked on seemed to indicate that if a woman ovulates, she's going to have a period. However, I'm not a gynecologist and I don't think any of the people whose comments I read were either. I guess the main question it brings up is whether ovulation is occurring or not; some of the women who mentioned having ovulation but no period were having ovulation-like pain and discharge for different reasons.

Bottom line: a trip or phone call to your doctor is probably in order, either to discuss your question about whether you can get pregnant or to discuss why you aren't seeing your period. (Assuming the latter is a mystery.)
