i really like my friend cause we have so much in common. like same taste in music, we're both smart, and well u get the point. he is so funny and krazy which is why i like him. i think he likes me cause he stares at me in class, calls out my name in class, touches my hair, when he passes me he touches my back, but when i say hi he just says hey dana then leaves. idk if he likes me the same way?!?

He might be playing games. I had a friend who would play mind games with me, it got so annoying. Ask him general questions about what he wants in a girl. If he likes anyone. If he is inconsistent he is just making stuff up so you don't suspect he likes you. If however, he is consistent and says someone that is not you then he might just be nice, or being flirty but with out the intention of starting anything. If he is a teenager or in his early to mid-twenties he probably just playing around trying to have "fun" with as many girls as possible. If he is older then he will hopefully be mature enough and get the guts to tell you he likes you and ask you out.

But you're not returning the stares, hair touching, and back touching, so he gets nervous (rejection, being shot down, etc...)
Just start doing that, and he'll get the message. Trust me, no guy on earth who's doing that to you will ever be offended or surprised when you do it to him.

i think that you should have a party. like for the begginning of school. invite him and flirt a little,dance with him. if u cant have the party then just call him and keep the converstation going like ask him what you should wear,or what he is doing or if he wants to see a movie

just say that you like him a lot and you are wondering if he likes you too. he will probably give an enthusiastic yes, otherwise he is gay or uninterested.
