The world, and many other religions have been around for much longer. Christianity is almost "new-age". Why should I believe in it? And if it's one of the newest religions, why is it one of the most popular in the world?

judaism has ben around for almost 6000 years and theres only 13 million of us. we dont believe in converting poeple. christianity is just a fad.

You shouldn't believe in it UNLESS IT'S TRUE. So what's the evidence?
There's the manuscript evidence, archeological evidence, prophecies and statistical evidence.
Christianity started way before 2000 years ago. Jesus was a Jew. The Jews had a special relationship with God for thousands of years. They waited eagerly for the coming of the Messiah, who would save them. Jesus was that Messiah. Jewish followers of Christ ended up being called Christians by others.
There are many prophecies in the Bible that speak of Him. Statistically, the chance that any one person could fulfill those prophecies is astronomical! But Jesus did fulfill those prophecies.
There are thousands of biblical manuscripts that corroborate the reliability of the biblical texts. Each year, more and more archeological finds support the accounts of the Bible.
Christianity offers forgiveness of sins and the opportunity to "become a new creation in Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). It offers everlasting life, joy, peace, reconciliation with God and others and a whole lot more. Most of all, it offers the TRUTH. Jesus said, "I am the way, the TRUTH and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

Which other religions surpass Christianity??
Christianity is a name for followers of Jesus. God has been around 4000 years before Jesus came, God also created the earth and has been around for eternity, try reading the old testament; those preachers which tell you that its not important do not know the truth.
Christ was predicted long before his birth. Try studying Daniel 9. (this book converts more jews to Christianity then any)

Because the God of Christianity (the God of the Jews also) has been around from everlasting to everlasting. God isn't about being popular or "voted best" - religion is manmade. Man is Godmade. It's about time people started acknowledging their Creator and praise his holy name.

Judaism is the root of Christianity, which has been around since the Israelites were called to God about 6500 + or - years ago. Compared to Islam : 700 C.E. ; Buddism 500 B.C.E.; Hinduism 4000 B.C.E.

Do yourself a favor and look up this search string:

According to the hard core bible thumpers, there is a huge conspiracy amongst scientists about carbon dating fossils. Dinosaurs existed millions of years ago and that isn't something that fits into the bible. When I was in school and we were reading about Noah loading up the ark I asked "Where were the dinosaurs?". Know the answer I got? "Go to the principals office"
It's not so much what you believe in ... just that you believe in something.

Because the God of Jesus Christ the son of God who is one and the same with God and the Holy Spirit, who had sex with Mary Jesus' mother and and was made man but really wasn't made man cause he was still really God all the time and God sacrificed his only begotten son on the cross but it was really God on the cross and not really a man who never had sex so it couldn't have really experienced manhood unless he masturbated a lot in his adolescence and then God rose again from the dead but Jesus wasn't really dead because he was one and the same with God who never dies and always was and was with the Holy Spirit who had sex with Jesus' mother. He only likes Christians who believe that God gave his only son for their sins and you gotta believe it or the loving and forgiving God is gonna burn your a s s in hell with gasoline till you scream in agony and say to ya: See my child, you should believed in the Holy Trinity and the Jesus sacrifice thing, now look what you got. Now burn you little worm."

Does a religion HAVE to be very old to be correct?
Look at the facts. Christianity can be backed up historically and scientifically. On a material level and a spiritual level.
