Spanish language does not translate exactly word per word but some of the translations could be:
Hola como estas? hey how are u?
hey que pasa? hey what's up?
Oye is not correct as it means to hear. verb oir

ey, que paso. or que pasa. que pasa is like what's up and que paso is like what happened. Also it depends on what country or region you're talking about there's a bunch of ways to say it

If you are greeting someone, it would be "Hey, Que Onda (informal way of saying it) or " hey, Que tal? ( a little more formal and polite)", and if you are asking about something that happen would be
"Hey , Que pasa?" (more like What's going on? meaning)
Hope this would help you, if not contact me...

¿Qué pasa? and ¿Qué onda? are the best 2 answers. Que tal is ok, but no one says it very often anymore.

"Que paso" is alright, but "Que onda" is a more commonly used slang term.
