The answer to your first (real) question is no, I do not think every question here is legit. The answer to your second question is yes, I realize some questions are absurd in nature just to get a rise out of people.

This is not even a question. But I must say that there are some questions that are for fun or absurd. Yet again, you can use your knowledge to help people; whether absurd or not. There maybe some questions that may appear untrue, but I atill tend to answer them. I gain a bit of wisdom from them.

That is why I usually look at the persons profile/how long they have been a member/how many questions they ask and what they are and ....I usually skip right over the ones with just the "smiley face" cause those usually are the bogus people.

my dear! here in the yahoo answer we are almost 10 millions people sitting and discussing anything comes to our mind online.
Can,t u imagine the impact of it? It is the strogest community online now. and mind it ur one of its part.
There is no limitation. we are to reach the limit of our human brain can take us to. If any supernatural is somewhere it must have scared by the perifery we already crossed.
This is one of the greatest way to test ourself, to taste the ideas of the whole human kind right this time.

I like to treat every question that I answer like it's for real. What if I made fun of someone's question and it turned out to be hurtful to them?
The really goofy questions, I just skip past (like I should have done for this one).
