I've never known exactly what "gnarly" meant, and I was a surfer for many years. I was healthy, in shape, and strong. Is that gnarly?

Its a state of mind. Not sweating the small stuff and being content just being. When that happens the true Gnar comes through. Its not being an *** its knowing that what ever comes is nothing compared to what happens in the water. Its the true Stoke of life.
