Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar
Round 1: Griffin round, 10-9. Nowhere near exciting as any of the three rounds of their previous fight, but Griffin is clearly in control on the feet - which is where the entire round remained.
Round 2: Another Griffin round, although Bonnar was coming on more towards the end. Entire round on the feet, with Griffin connecting and showing more technical prowess. Bonnar was coming on towards the end, but if I'm asked who's tired, I'd say Griffin isn't - period, and Bonnar is starting to get tired.
Round 3: Close round, could be because I wanted a close tough fight, I gave it to Bonnar. I've got it 2-1 Griffin, but round two was closer than I thought according to everyone around me. So a draw wouldn't shock me, although I clearly got it 29-28.
Forrest Griffin def. Stephan Bonnar via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Fight #9:
Chuck Liddell vs. Renato Sobral
Round 1: Babalu looked more determined, and in comparison via physical body shape Babalu looked to have taken the fight more seriously, even with facial expressions before the round began. It was a feel out process, Babalu was more aggressive, but it was the wrong choice as Liddell - a known better counter-striker, utilized those skills and rocked him and followed up for almost a full minute to finally get the referee stoppage.
Chuck Liddell def. Renato "Babalu" Sobral via TKO (ref stoppage) at 1:35 of Round 1.
