If your depressed more than a few months and it affects your everyday life you need to talk to your Dr or a therapist. If your just a little blue , try a night out with your best friend ! Or pamper your self, get a new hair cut, catch up with family you haven't seen for awhile. Get out of your everyday life and try something different . And people say this all the time , but it really helps, Exercise!!!Good luck!

I know this is the last thing you want to do, but walk, walk fast for 20 min to start. If you can get someone else to walk with you that would be great. If there is something bothering you, you might feel better if you got it off of your chest and even had a good cry, that could make you feel better. If you have been active, taking it a little desire, stopping to smell the roses might help, If you have been lethargic, not going anywhere, sleeping alot, It would definitely help to get up and walk and try to get 15 minutes of sunshine a day. If None of these things work, you have to see a professional. Hope you feel less depressed soon. Take care of yourself OK?

Count your blessings. Write them down and put them in a box. When you feel sad or depressed open the box and read them. Stop dwelling on the negative things in life, start dwelling on the positive. Concentrate on being happy rather than sad. Learn to laugh. Laugh at yourself. Watch a comedy. Volunteer at a nursing home. Do something positive for someone else.

go walking/running/jogging: builds up endorphins. many people say this works, and it DOES work, the only silly part is that the depression will always come back (if u have major depression)
however, if u don't have major depression, then this should do the trick.

hi dezi, i comprehend the type you experience. I went by extreme college and its stressful. yet in simple terms because of the fact ur single doesnt propose its the top of the international. there will be countless relationships down the line, and that they are going to greater useful than those at college. remember... its extreme college. all human beings remains immature and starting to be. So my suggestion, in simple terms save being genuine to your self and at some point there will be somebody who likes you for who you're. you purely ought to attend. :)

well i dont believe in drugging uself up w/ prescriptions so i suggest you hang out w/ those that love you. do like that other girl said and write down every thing in ur life that ur lucky and thankfull to have. when im depressed i like to write poems and talk to my very best friends. and i sumtimes pray.
