I think it's more likely that you will be dumped overboard after a night of partying than finding true love.

Probably not!
I was dating a girl for a few weeks before she went on a cruise. It was a new relationship I had started and really cared for her. She went on the cruise, came back and told me she slept with the scuba diving instructor. Needless to say it was lust not love and she lost a chance with a really great guy. Me!

If its a singles cruise yes, if not it may not really be the best place. But you have to put yourself out there if you want to meet people, so at the very least have fun!
And if its all couples,still try to find couples from your area....they may have single friend to introduce you to when you return home!

Sure any place is a good place to find love. But honestly stop looking for it. It will find you when the time is right and probably when you least expect it. I hope that works. Shoot I'm still looking is she out there?
