I have a miserable life even though I am healthy, employed and have a supportive family. Trouble is that the things in my personal life I want, I can't get no matter how hard I try. Yes, I get sick and tired of it all the time. I have to learn to live with disappointment I suppose.

How can you have a miserable life when everything around you is OK? If you feel like this, you might be depressed...try seeing a doctor.

Yep, I get up, feed my daughter, play with her for awhile, put her down for a nap, take a shower, etc.....it's the daily routine that gets miserable sometimes.
You need to be adventurous and do something fun once in awhile....go to a movie, go swimming, walk to a park and people watch, go out to dinner with your folks or a good friend, draw, listen to music, do a puzzle, watch sports, go for a drive with no prior destination in mind.....any of these things make me feel better when life gets "ordinary."

I believe that life is what we make it , everyday we make choices. We can either choose to be miserable or happy . I find that whenever I get out of SELF and go out of my way to help someone else it helps immensely . The oh poor me attitude has never gotten anyone anywhere . Pick yourself up and go do a good deed for a stranger . AND DON'T TELL ANYONE !!!
Just do it and I know it will help .

It does sound like depression, and that is treatable. Talk to your doctor abut it and he may refer you to a specialist for treatment.
