ok so 2 days ago i get a IM from a girl i went to school with in 10th grade, we had a few classes together, but we never really talked or anything.
Anyways we start talking and she interupts and asks if i would like to hang out with her sometime soon. i say i would like that so we made plans for next saturday.
I find this odd cause she is really beautiful and well im cute in a nerdy way, or at least i was in 10th grade. ( were seniors now ). Does she like me or something? Cause she hasnt seen me in a year
Also i plan on taking her to the park so we can talk and get to know each other better, cause well i dont really know anything about her lol. Is that a good first date/meeting. We will probably go to a resteraunt afterwords like applesbees or something.
And i will of course pay and be a gentleman... i was raised that way lol.
I could be over thinking it and she just wants to hang out and be friends. But idk, im not really an expert in this catagory of women and dating

i havent seen or talked to her in a year since our highschool split into 2 schools. and she is at the other one.
She also had her friend IM me first asking if i knew who she was. idk if thats relivant, but i thought it might show she was shy or something.

You're going to have to go on that date to find out how interested she is! Hey, it sounds like a really perfect date - lucky girl!
My feeling is that she likes you, and has liked you for a while. In case you haven't noticed, cute nerdy boys are totally in at the moment. You're probably a total dreamboat.

This is a dangerous situation. I think before you do the paying and all that stuff you need to ask her if it IS a date. That's the easiest way to know if she is trying to initiate a relationship or just looking for someone to hang with. If you pay without her asking, she may become insulted because you are taking "just hanging out" far too seriously and she might be scared off. PLUS you say you don't know much about her, you might want to hang out with her to see if she's even someone you WANT to date, because even though she's very beautiful...actually those are the ones you need to watch she could totally be using you for something especially if she hasn't seen you in such a long time. I'd just ask what she has in mind specifically.

She very well might! Just be sure that you don't show up looking extremely dressy. Be casual! That way, if it IS just to hang out and be friends, you won't look like a dork. However, by the way this sounds, she might really like you!

um well i think its really cool that you'd take her to the park and get to know her but before you take her out to dinner make sure she wants to go dont just bring her there and exspect that she'll want to go
