My SBC DSL contract is over today, and I am switching over to MCI for my phone service!

I am very happy about this! SBC (now ATT) sucks in every way, both phone and DSL.

Because the DSL codes were on my line, I was unable to switch to MCI.

I had MCI Neighborhood when I lived in another state, and I really liked them. When I moved here, SBC held onto the new telephone numbers, so I had to get them and the DSL. They really suck. I am glad to be gone!

My best guess is that you like MCI and hate SBC. Now that SBC is AT&T, you can hate both of those companies, but wait ! What will you do when AT&T buys out MCI in about three months? Wouldn't that be a hoot!

The actual DSL from SBC has to be removed from the line before MCI DSL can be installed that usually takes 3 weeks or more to do. You can get DSL from other companies when that line is clear of SBC's DSL.

Good for you. Where's the question?

I like SBC, actually. I love the internet service. Always fast and reliable.
