G'day Lovely,

Thank you for your question.

Cats sneezing can be caused by a lot of things. I would keep a close eye on it and take it to the vet if it hasn't improved within a day or so.

Sneezing occurs due to feline herpes virus (which can be a recurrent illness in cats), feline leukemia virus, from dental problems, from allergies (not as frequently as in people), from exposure to environmental factors like second-hand smoke, fungal or bacterial infection of the nasal passages and cancers. In a young cat, the most likely causes are the viruses, followed by environmental irritants and allergies. Usually, when
sneezing is due to herpes virus it lasts about 3 weeks, stops, then recurs at irregular intervals. The other causes tend to be more chronic.

User Soccergurl who is a vet advised seven months ago "Actually, since i am a vet. Cats CAN get colds. But you must not call it a cold. There are many kind of cat "colds" but here at a vet clinic, colds to cats and other pets are like real sicknesses, like strep throat, or stomach virus. If your cat keeps sneezing or coughing, or showing any other symptons, you should contact a vet nearby... Thanks!!"

That sounds like good advice to me.
If he hasn't improved, after a day or so take him to the vet.

Regards

He could have something like a fox tail in his nose or he could have allergies. Cats are not big sneezers so if he keeps it up for more than a day, take him to the vet. If it is a fox tail you don't want it to work its way up any further so as soon as the Dr can get it out the better.

It depends how long this has been going on. A couple of days is one thing, he may have a cold. But if it continues, best to see the vet. Sometimes they get things up their nose and that can be dangerous.

You cat has a cold! You should take him to the vet so he can start taking meds for it asap. If it goes untreated, it can turn into something worse like pneumonia.

If it lasts more than a week, take him to the vet. It could be a cold, allergies, or a sinus infection.

I agree that it sounds like an upper respiratory infection. I'd take it to the vet asap, b/c if that's what it is, it needs antibiotics.
