If you still have some energy and motivation left, and they might be low because of your depression, then try to get some rest, wake up in the morning and exercise, take a nice shower, dress well, and get going with your day. Take your multivitamins, and take care of yourself. If you are having difficulty sleeping try taking a sleeping aid. If for a week this does not help, or if you get worse, then you need to see about getting you some depression medicine. Good luck.

They say exercise is good for the soul.
Not to get religious or anything, but my mother would tell me to "try reading your bible and start praying"
I cant say anti-depressants help because they sure as hell don't work for me. But some people swear on them.
Your depression may also be stemming from boredom..try finding some activies you enjoy aside from being on the computer. Make an attempt to get out more - hook up with friends - do more things outside of the house.
I hope this helped and that your depression wont take over your life. Depression causes one to become withdrawn..You don't want that to happen...because then, it becomes an illness - Not just a state of mind.

Exercise is said to decrease depression. Then again, when you're depressed, who wants to exercise. I see a therapist. It helps to talk to someone. And I take Paxil CR....and a shot of vodka! yea, I know you're not suppose to do that but I'm living dangerously for the moment.

Meditation is one of the best way to feel less depressed and relaxed
The following meditation is like a visualisation in reverse. It is designed to progressively free your awareness from everything that is not the essential self. It is not the intention to escape or avoid ourselves but an opportunity to be free of everything to which we surrender our awareness and our attention.
The paradox within the exercise is simple, when you discriminate and detach from everything outside yourself you do not lose the world, it will always be there, but you regain yourself, which was also always there, but was lost in the world!
Sit comfortably...
Visualise an eraser in your hand...
Take the eraser and imagine yourself rubbing out the desk in your office...
Then rub out the building which hold your office...
Erase your car...
Then the surrounding streets and homes...
Then be aware of everything outside your own home...rub it out...
Then inside .. your bedroom, the kitchen, the lounge...
Erase them all one by one...
Until you are sitting in your chair floating in space...
Now rub out the chair...
Then look down and rub out your feet, then your legs, then your bottom, your waste...
Rub out your chest then your other hand...
Your other arm and shoulder ...
Now imagine the eraser moving on its own as it turns to rub out the arm and the hand that was holding it...
Then the eraser floats towards your face and gently erases your features...
There is now nothing left...except you...floating in empty space It's not that you are no longer...
As you float there you are very aware of yourself, very focused on yourself, powerful, serene and quite content...
...just to be...
