It is SOOO easy to hate.... Especially on recent times, with war and terrorism issues. Instead of propogating hate and focusing on the negatives, I was hoping to gather positive qualities of George Bush that Americans and Non-Americans have seen in his political and personal life. I am not at all a fan of his... but I think seeing his qualities would be way better than nurturing Anger and Hatred in my heart... because i believe Hatred begets Hatred.

** I like the comment that Laura dresses him well... had me in stitches lol. Yes... I agree with most of you, it is so so easy to see wickedness in others. Yeah... until today i never realised it before, one of his strengths AND his bane is his stubborn steadfastness to do what he thinks is the right thing despite all the critics. Isnt it true for most of us? We can only do what we think is right.... thanks for that tip for those who mentioned it.

He believes in what he is doing! He doesn't sway with the polls or at least he didn't when he started.

No, hatred begets action, and that is exactly what we Americans need to have to get motivated to get to the polls and change our political course. While I appreciate the Kum Ba Ya, let's just all get along vibe, that is the kind of passive apathy that has lost the last 2 elections. Being a Texan and having a front row seat on this bozo for more years than I choose to count, he has no redeeming qualities. He is a vengeful, vindictive, spoiled WASP brat who doesn't have a clue how the majority of Americans are forced to struggle under the policies and laws that he is responsible for enacting.

George W. Bush believes in what he is doing, he tells it like it is and has become the Howard Cosell of politics. People hated Howard too. The world is unifying regarding information sharing on terrorism. George brought this about. Was he misinformed? Yes. Are those who think he is after oil misinformed? Yes. Is Iraq free? Not really. Will it be? Not if the Iraqis do it alone. Yes, if George has his way and we stick by him. The man is doing his best and his detractors refuse to give him credit for any success but magnify every error. We might as well be Shiites and Sunni as democrats and republicans. We disgust me. I am neither but I am an American and he is the twice elected President of the USA. I support him.

"The man is doing his best and his detractors refuse to give him credit for any success but magnify every error. We might as well be Shiites and Sunni as democrats and republicans. We disgust me. I am neither but I am an American and he is the twice elected President of the USA. I support him."--This from a recent post.

Oh please. First of all, he wasn't elected the first time, not by a long shot. He was installed by his father's friends on the Supreme Court, in violation of the doctrine of separation of powers. Second, the '06 election is dubious.

Regardless, he's in office.

Even presuming his office is legitimate, it would scarcely do either him or the rest of us any credit.

The guy wasn't a fighter pilot, he was a trained pilot, and the closest thing to combat he ever saw was his ridiculous "Top Gun" flight out to the "Mission Accomplished" spectacle. If the mission was accomplished, why the hell are we still in Iraq.

Second, the guy has been a failure at literally everything he undertook, and with the most notable of advantages, namely, being a Bush family member. He even managed to screw that up, as impossible as it seems.

Third, he's a deserter, and in war time.

Fourth, he's got a few marbles missing. Anyone that says they are "ordained by god" to do this-or-that, is suspect classification in my book. This is a guy who was coking and drinking for 20+ years, then hits forty, "see's God who tells him to be President."

The guy is fried in his head. He's obviously got wet-brain, a Messianic complex, and is a sock-puppet for Israel, all to the detriment of our nation, while his good buddy Cheney has his old cronies at Halliburtion bilking this nation for billions in debt, and leaving an empty hull.

What a legacy.

What qualities do you see in George Bush Jr? He has done nothing to make Americans to trust him. Most importantly he would have to do something to prove that he is not a total idi_t!

The most wonderful thing about George W. Bush is that he won't be eligible to run for president in 2008.

Let's not try to sugar coat things...The truth is not hate, but let's just be honest.

He acts like a typical Evangelistic Christian...He is proud and has no wisdom. I believe he will go down in history as the worst president we've had.

I'm sorry if that hurts....

He's confessed the Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior. He stands by Israel as a nation. He's kept our country safe from terrorists. He asked Americans to refrain from acting out in violence against Muslim Americans after 911. The way he brought the nation together after 911.

I'm sorry I cannot fill your positives column. The man is deceitful, manipulative, uses religion to his own political advantage, and there is evidence that he is a self-deluded megalomaniac. His interactions with reporters show unprofessional disrespect and callous disregard for the need of the American people to have information in order to fully participate in our democracy.

I guess if you need one positive, Laura dresses him well.

The only positive point he has he shares with you and I. Jesus Christ died for this man also, and we should love him and not hate our enemy as Jesus has given us commandment.

Also, i don't want to make you hate him more, but check out this link. It shows the truth about mr. Bush
