I am English but I live in Poland. It is a very hard language to learn for an English speaker. It is an inflectional language which creates a complex grammar involving many different endings to basic words. Even Polish people complain about the grammar. With very hard work you will be able to communicate well after three years work but fluent is not possible in that time.

Polish is a difficult language because of the way all the consonants are but you should still try to learn it. Just practice as much as you can and visit the country as much as you can. Good luck!

Sure, if you really set your mind to do it, I don't see why not. You could also put some money aside to travel to Poland some time within the next 3 years. Nothing makes you learn a language faster than having to live there.

I can't see why not! As long as you really want it and stick to it. But mind you, it's a difficult language. However, because you're so young, there is a great chance you'll succeed. Good luck!
P.S. I'm Polish, if you'd like to talk to me, feel free to IM me or send an e-mail.
