I have light ash blonde hair, blue grey eyes and very fair skin with pink undertones. Would either one of these two colors suit me or do I need to look at something else such as blue or silver?

1. White silk chiffon

Either of these gowns would be perfect. If you feel that white is not flattering for you, accessorise with either silver or gold jewellery. Also you add color with your boquet and you can have your hair styled with colored flowers that match your boquet.
If you still don't like the idea of white, choose a color of your chioce. Some brides have gone off white and worn red or blue and even black! You may choose a pale pastel gown or you could look fantastic in a silver or gold gown.
The day is yours, you get to call the shots on your special day.
You may even decide on a themed wedding where you and your guests wear particular themed costumes, such as Roman, Egyption, Greek , Chinese or Medievil and then you can choose your bridal attire that would not be white. Be as creative as you want to be.
Queen Victoria of England wore a black wedding gown, it is of beautiful black lace and beads, I have seen it on display. When Paula Yates married Bob Geldof she chose a stunning vibrant red wedding gown and veil. If you are concerned about well meaning family members ofr friends, trying to disuade you from making your own choice, you can keep your wedding gown details a secret, and not let anyone know your plans, then you arrive at your wedding in your own style and be proud and happy it is your day and your husband will love you no matter what color you choose to wear. If you want to, you may choose ivory or oyster which are just a shade away from white.
Enjoy your day, it is the beginning of the rest of your life.

I would suggest an off-white or cream colored gown... Go to your local fabric store bring a friend and a large mirror ($10.00 at wal-mart) take bolts of cloth and wrap them around yourself and look in the mirror pay attention to how each color makes your skin look...

When you find a color that looks good you are ready to go look at dresses in that color to choose style... remember to allow for 5- 10 lbs weight gain when buying a dress.. more than 6 months before the wedding.. It's always easier to have a dress taken in at the last minute than taken out... 3 weeks before the wedding try on the dress and decide if you need to do a last minute alteration (be sure to try on with all under clothes you will be wearing)...

I am really going to have to say that they are both GORGEOUS however- even though they LOOK good, they may not be the right fit for you- you should choose a color that flatters your tone... Try on a few dresses, and see what would work for you- I like the White chiffon better however...

Both dresses are gorgeous!!! But, just because they look good in pictures on other people, it doesn't mean that it will look the same on you. Try them out and see which one looks the best on you. But, MY choice is the white silk chiffon because the material flows and it looks much more comfortable and elegant. Goodluck!!!

Out of those two, I definately prefer the 1st one, the silk chiffon, but seeing that I have no idea what you look like with it on, I can't really say for sure.

Your best bet is to go try them on, along with a few other colors and shades and fabrics, and take along your mom, or maid-of-honor, or gradmother, or someone (or two someones!) whose opinion you trust.

I think both gowns are beautiful. However, the best advice I can give you for buying a gown is to go try them on. You won't know what looks good til you see yourself in a few different types and colors of dresses. good luck, you'll find the perfect gown.

I would do mocha or , something to accent your pink skin tones, and blond hair that would be different, have you seen that light goldish look in wedding dresses, bronze look but not too dark the lightest version, mocha it goes well with pink

I would go with something in ivory. It tends to make blondes look more elegant I think. The satin is shinier, and it tends to make me think of the 80s. Chiffon is more elegant and flattering. Try on as many dresses as you can get your hands on. When you try on "the one" you will know, trust me. Good luck

I believe the ivory look to the royal duchess satin may look nice, however, you may try a light blue to even out skin tone with it ... ALWAYS try it on though
