Word normally means any kind of communication, but here it means Christ, who was the way God told people about Himself. Jesus says many times that God is with him. John 3:34 says "The one whom God sent speaks the words of God, because God gives him the Spirit fully." He also says he does nothing alone. He does only what he sees the Father doing.

Read the Gospel of John
It says "1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
So this means that he was the Word of god much earlier than when he came down to us. In fact I would venture to say that the best way to describe Jesus' as an entitiy would be The Word, before he became a man.
I'm not sure what the correlation is with the other verses.
1:1That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life 1:2(and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);
5:7It is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth
9:13The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God, 9:14saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!"

Yes, the gospel of John (chapter one) says that "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." It goes on to say, "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."
The "Word" (the Son of God) is, and always has been eternal. He "became" flesh in time and space -- "Jesus".
By the way, 1 John 5:7 is in virtually no Greek text (what the New Testament was originally written in.) The verse (in our English translations) was added centuries after the fact by well-meaning translators.

Yes. Jesus Christ is the Word. He is the fulfillment of the law. He is God incarnate. This is why we believe in the Holy Trinity- Father, Son and Holy Spirit--three facets of the one true God.

yes Jesus is the word, and was with God from the beginning.
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, somewhere in Genesis.
