I need ideas for better eating. I am in the military and I don't really get the chance to eat healthy foods. I eat out everyday and for both lunch and dinner. I need quick and easy recipes, to cut back on spending, and hight fatty foods!!! I am piling on the weight and its getting harder to lose it. What can I do, where can I go?!

I would worry a bit about all the prepared foods you're eating. They tend to be high in fat and salt, loaded with MSG (possibly a serious poison to the human body, the effects of which don't show up til decades later)... and so many edible non-food items that reading the label is just scary. Yes, start buying lots of fruits and veg and eating them raw. Particularly fruit. You don't need to be a talented cook to know how to eat raw fruit! Raw carrots and celery are easy and nutritious too. One simple thing you could try is roast chicken. It really is a lot easier than you'd think. Just throw one of those 2.5 pound birds in the oven at 350 for about an hour and a half, breast side up. You don't have to do anything else if you're not inclined, and out comes tasty roast chicken. (Use a meat thermometer to judge doneness -- pushed into the breast of the chicken but not touching the bone).Throw some whole potatoes in (wrap in foil, they need about an hour) and/or sweet potatoes (also an hour, don't wrap), and you've basically got an easy effortless meal. This isn't good for workdays, but try it some weekend when you have the time to wait for dinner. It's an easy healthy meal. Prep time, about 5 minutes. If there is leftover chicken you can make sandwiches. Boil up some peas or beans for your greens. Re potatoes, you can microwave a whole potato in about 3 minutes (wash and pierce with a fork). Top with all sorts of things you like -- baked beans, cheddar, sour cream. It's a quick easy lunch with more nutrition than your average TV dinner. Sandwiches: a great way to eat healthy. Buy whole wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, maybe some cold cuts (but not too much). When you do have some time, definitely experiement with home cooking. Practice will make you comfortable in the kitchen. I work full-time and have two kids, and make dinner every night when I come home from work. I've got it down to a fine art. I almost never serve up prepared food, but rather cook whole foods from scratch. I can make a meal in 30 minutes for the family. There are lots of easy things you can throw together, it's all a question of picking up ideas here and there and trying them out. Good luck!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMCas

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
