There are so many evils happening in this world that makes me wonder where this world is going. As a blessed American, we tend to live in bubble and not pay attention to what is really going on around the world.
There are so many evils going on in this world such as war, genocide, human trafficking, sex trafficking, slave labor, child labor, discrimination, crimes, violence, pornography, etc...
Maybe it is just me but I feel like the world is getting worse by day, not better. I used to believe that every human being has a conscience. Not anymore after I have seen what kinds of atrocities humankind has committed throughout the history, especially WWII.
I would like to hear u guys' insights. How do you view the world progressing into? What can we do to minimize the evils happening in this world?

"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world." John 18:36

My hope is not in this world. If it were, I would be in for a disappointment! But I am confident that I shall live eternally with God!

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed!

“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelations 21:7

In Christ,
Zach Doty

It all has to do with what you're focusing on at the moment. There are a good amount of good happening in the world as well. I'm not saying to block out the bad, but to acknowledge a flaw or incorrection is just to insure it's existance. There's a lot of good in the world and if something doesn't exist, it can't be a problem. Humans have a natural magnetism about themselves. Everything they think, do, or say affects everything that happens to them, how they look, and how they feel to some extent. A magnet has natural tendencies to make another magnetically conducive object a magnet itself when within the magnetic field. A nail has all the properties of a magnet, simply unorganized, but when in vicinity of the magnet it organizes, and becomes a magnet itself until the magnet magnetizing it is no longer in the vicinity. Therefore If you become the best role model you can be, through action, and perphaps a neutral spoken word, You'll become a magnetic inspiration to others and would therefore become a positive influence to the world through that, and all the collateral philanthropic action taken by those inspired by you. Robert G. Allen comes to mind, and his book The One Minute Millionaire, it has written tactics of using money as leverage to do "enlightened" good deeds in business and help the world through the leveraged efforts of others, to simply do as much collateral good as they can while creating abundance for themselves. One can keep track of their progress through their site. Which I'll source for you. Being a positive role model affects the world in a good way.

I start in my own backyard. In other words, I become aware of the troubled spots or hot issues in my own geographical area. Doing so is often a gateway to learning about national and international problems and effective groups that address the global whole. The cool thing about concentrating on local and regional concerns is my efforts seem to be more tangible. Results are easier and quicker. It also helps me deal with all the ugliness I see in the world. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed I turn the television off and don't open a newspaper. Look around you. There are plenty of people that could benefit from your passion and concern right at home.

I don't think we can minimize the evil. It's everywhere, even where you don't think it is. We just have to live with it, try to protect the youth from it and teach them not to fall prey to it. I think that the evil grows as we fall further and further from religion. I mean there was a time when the Catholic church was the most powerful force on earth. Now it's America. So many people don't believe in any kind of God and don't worship. I really think the lack of religious beliefs is what allows the evil to be perpetrated.

The Bible tells us tht things in the world will get worse as the end of days approaches. If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, now is the time to do so. True Christians believe tht Christ return is fast approaching. In fact, every Bible prophecy tht is supposed to happen before God returns has been fulfilled except perhaps the appearance of the antichrist.
The Bible tells us tht no man knows the day or the hour of Christ's return. Yet, it also says to watch for the signs. Like I said, we may possibly be approaching the last days.
God made a way for us to escape His final judgment tht He will pour out on the inhabitants of the earth. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior by praying to Him and telling Him so.

Is your church focusing a lot on this stuff?....When I used to go, that was a prevalent topic and it really fosters fears and prejudices..

The world is really not as horrific as you are thinking....Yes, there are many injustices, but you need a fresh perspective. There are really good people all around you, just stop and look.

If you're so tired of it, buy a gun and a bullet. Or go the cheaper route, and use a rope. Nothing can be done for the world we live in. Live it or leave it.

I makes you wonder if Nitzche was right, doesn't it? Sure seems like either God is dead, or he just doesn't give a hairy rat's petutie.

Maybe he's just on vacation.

Evil? I thought this was evolution, or survival of the fittest... why should we care.
