Maybe it would help to write down what you would say before you go. When you get there, if you can't bring up the words, hand the paper to the therapist.
Remember they are trained to deal with this and probably have seen it many times before. They can't help you, if you don't tell them this source of your pain.
I think you are close to being ready to talk to someone. The fact that you asked this question means you want to heal from the trauma.

First, find a therapist that you feel comfortable with - you don't have to start by telling everything. Most therapists want to help you feel comfortable, so they will go at your own pace. A really good counselor will be empathetic with you, and you might have to only say a little bit, and he/she will start to sense what is going on with you.
You might also want to talk to someone at a rape crisis center. You don't necessarily have to go in, you can sometimes just talk on the phone. This might get you more comfortable talking about this situation.
Whatever you do, please take care of yourself. This is a terrible trauma that you have had to endure, and the last thing you need is to go through this alone.
Take care.

You do not need to state why you are seeking therapy when you make an appointment. Once you have an appointment and the therapist has explained his or her confidentiality requirements, you should feel reassured. Anything said between you and your therapist goes no further than the two of you. And even though they will never acknowledge it, they have heard a story like yours many times before. Good Luck, God Bless, and I hope that you are able to find an able and competent therapist that can help you.

I agree with Oscar on his second point. If initiating the discussion is hard, I think you should tell your therapist, "I have something that I really need to talk about, but I'm afraid to talk about it." If you tell her that, your therapist will know how to be more gentle and encouraging in getting you to tell her what happened so that telling her won't be so scary/stressful for you.
Of course, you could always call a rape crisis hotline and pose this question to one of their counselors. They can help ease your fear/stress. Heck, I bet they would even talk to you the whole way to the therapist's office.

You typed out the question for us, why are you too embarrassed to talk to your doctor about it?
Honey, if you still have a problem opening up and telling her, then copy this question, go to your word program, open up the document program and paste it.
Then print it.
If you can not find the words to open the conversation, then hand her that paper with question on it and that will open the door.

If it's really hard to say out loud, would you feel more comfortable writing it down?
Or you can broach the subject by saying something vague, like, "Someone did something bad to me." The therapist can gently ask questions so you can approach it gradaully.

Just tell her, sweetheart. Believe me, they've heard it all before. And they are trained to help you on these issues. I am glad you are thinking about getting help. It is a hard step, good luck.

if you can get it out like that on yahoo answers, the words will come when you get to your appointment. and make that appointment quickly, the longer u put it off the more extensive your damage and longer it takes to reverse it. i'm so sorry u experienced that. :(
