LOL. My husband and I carpool to our jobs every day, and we were just noticing that. So many young women who don't signal, talk on the cell phone, and cut people off (suddenly change lanes right in front of you so you have to step on the brake and let them in your lane.) One of them did that 4 times to us on the way home the other day, no matter what lane we were in, she wanted it. It was ridiculous. And talking on the phone the whole time.

Our sons have had to pay enormous insurance rates: I hope the insurance industry starts giving the same rates to the young girls.

No, but there are women under 25 that can drive without talking on their cell phone and will use their turn signal ... but you'll only find them living out in the boonies.

City folk are born wired ... this is the world we live in.
Make due or move.

I even have mixed thoughts on the concern. i've got seen some notably loopy utilising being achieved by folk on cellular telephones, so i will delight in the reason. however the comparable could be pronounced for human beings eating and utilising... or utilising with childrens interior the vehicle. Are we going to limit those distractions too? Banning cellular telephone use altogether looks severe to me. yet i do no longer understand of any states that ban using cellular telephones with a head set or on speaker. That looks like a existence like compromise.

Well I have no plans on doing either. I am 15 but will drive next year. I am nearly always on my cell phone except tonight because I am grounded and dad took it away for the weekend. Also, as long as I know where I am going that's all that counts, who needs turn signals.

I don't like to talk on the phone when i'm driving. I actually don't like talking on the phone at all, only if i have to. But i have seen a lot of people talking on the phone and drive and swerve like maniacs - men and women. I guess people will not learn until they get in an accident, because they don't seem to care if they cause one!

I do...the only time i'm on my phone while driving is if my parents called. Other than that, there are cops EVERYWHERE watching, so i follow the laws...most (I tend to speed).

I'm 18 and have never gotten a ticket or in any kind of wreck! that's uncommon for a teenager! I just have people stare at me like I'm crazy bec. I tend to dance and sing while driving (not huge dancing, just shaking and stuff like that), and no one sings while driving anymore. it's sad.
