Gaining some weight is likely a side effect of the pill, not of being pregnant--you wouldn't gain that kind of weight due to pregnancy until a few months down the road.
Being irritated is another side effect of the pill, and of being worried about being pregnant.
Heartburn can be a pregnancy sign, and so can a very short and light period when you usually have a heavy flow, as you describe.
As you know, the pill regulates your period, making it happen at precisely the same time each month and making it consistent in flow. This sign would worry me the most, I think.
I recommend that you do not take another pill until you've seen a doctor (which you should do right away), and that you explain to your fiance that you cannot have sex until after you have seen a doctor.
It is possible to have a negative pregnancy test in the very early stages and still be pregnant, so it's best to get checked out...

1. Take a blood test (it is the most exact test).
2. My sister-in-law was pregnant and her tests came out negative (you never know!)
3. I have been on the pill for 6 years and I have failed to take it a few times, and nothing has happened.
4. Mind is very strong and if you feel you are pregnant, your body could give you signals that are not true.
5. I tried the injection for three months once and I bleeded the whole time. If you are on the pill and it works for you, don't change the method, just try to take them every day. Pills are very secure.

First, I got pregnant on birth control. Because I missed several pills then tried to get back on them, screwed them up again and eventually just stopped taking them. But, if you miss pills it can cause you to bleed a little bit as if you were going to start. If you bleed because of missing a couple of pills, it will usually happen like the next day after you miss your pills. Next thing is, your cause from bleeding could be from "implantation bleeding", you can do a google search on this. This is where the fertilized egg implants itself into the lining of your uterus, thus meaning you are pregnant. Third thing is...how long after you missed your pills did you take a pregnancy test? It can take about two weeks from getting pregnant before it shows up on a test, and what kind of test did you buy? i recommend first response or ept...but I have also known people to buy walgreens brands and they worked.
You need to consider whether or not you took this pregnancy test too soon and how long you bled after missing pills.
I would not, not use any form of birth control just because you think you are pregnant. Having a baby requires a lot of energy and a lot of time and a lot of no sleep! I would definitely wait a while before getting pregnant (unless of course you are), because I got pregnant before my husband and i got married and then was pregnant when i got married and so far have had no time for him. Everything, all of my energy has been toward our son. And don't get me wrong, I love my son with all of my heart and wouldn't change what happened for anything. But if I had a choice I would have liked for my husband and i to spend the first year of our marriage focusing in us. Plus you are really young to be having a baby...and getting married. But if you are getting married this young, you should definitely wait to have a child. Unless of course you are already pregnant.
Good luck to you whatever is the outcome!

Yes, you could still be pregnant, just not producing alot of the chemical the hpt tests for. Wait at least another three or four days, then take another test or go see your doctor. Seeing the doctor is the best choice, as he/she can examine you to rule out any other problems. PS You can get pregnant while on the pill even if you take every pill exactly like you're supposed to. I took mt pills every night at the same time and never missed one. My son was conceived while I was on the pill.

Wait a few days, or a week, then try again. Questions to ask yourself:
are you tired all the time, like you have mono? (i was)
are your breasts bigger, or more sore? (mine were)
either way, just calm down, wait a bit, and test again. Or go to the health department and get a test done there, for about $3. They'll help you, it's really not all that bad. They helped me a whole lot.
Bottom line: you might be pregnant, or it could just be the BC pills. Wait a bit and test again. And if you are, it isn't the end of everything. There are ways to help. WIC and Medicaid helped me out a whole lot. (My daughter is now 13 months, i had her when i was 18.)
e-mail me if you need more help. i've been there and done that. good luck!!

Every preganacy is different. Go to the Doctor or health clinic tommorow and they will tell you if you are or not.
Now on to the next subject. Why are you getting married at 16. Girl you are to young, but you probaly have heard that before. Do you have parents or other gaurdians in the picture? And if they are, what parent/gaurdian would let their KID get married at 16? Please re-think the marrige thing for right now. If it is meant to be between you and your boyfriend, you will still be together when you are a legal age.

No, I think the Pills are making you nutty. Try the Shots that you only need to take every three months..they have less effect on your emotional state and you don't get your period at all.
Well at least I didnt. Its nice to not have to take a pill everyday or worry about tampons.

You could very well be. You wont know until next month IF you get your period again. So let your doctor know whats happened then take a blood test this is the only guaranteed test I would trust.

well I know with BC pills . . sometimes if you miss a couple of pills you will have spotting in between periods, and it sometimes throws your cycle off . . . but I would say get tested again to be on the safe side . .
