OK look you get rejected you get rejected at least you'll know now to move on and know there not interested isnt that a good thing ohh and plus you'll you'll fell better about it it'll give you more confidence ( sounds funny but it will) you wont be able to feel bad any more you'll just move on...... SO STOP THAT AND JUST DO IT ALREADY !!!

Pearleyez you have it wrong. You are not a guy and don't know what we have to go through. The sad thing is too many times men view themselves in the eyes of a women. Society also puts a lot of pressure on men to date only the most beautiful women. In society we have a Halo Effect that a man dating a beautiful women must be "Doing something right". So it's only natural that a man who is rejected by a beautiful women is "Doing something wrong". Very good looking women have this power and they know it. Their looks alone gives people the Halo Effect that they are more successful,richer,smarter, better lovers and happier then other women.

I don't claim to have all the answers, but I know that with a guy, he's concerned with his self worth...he let's himself think that a rejection is going to somehow make him less of a man, a good guy, and he let's it bruise his self esteem, which then shoots his self confidence down. Of course a rejection really doesn't have anything to do with the guy as a person, but because most guys think this way, their ego takes a kick in the pants. And he SHOULDN'T LET IT!!! You're right--I agree with you here! The rejection happens for many reasons, not just because it has to do with him and him only. Right?!?!

Guys are afraid of rejection because it DOES make us feel bad. There's a lot of pressure given by other guys. If a guy never hears yes, he's considered a loser, and all of his buds will make fun of him. Continued rejection will also destroy most of his hope.
If there weren't so many girls that were more concerned with frivolous things, like guys being athletes, drinkers, druggies, preppy, popular, cool, extremely attractive, or wanted already by a lot of girls, etc., then guys would have nothing to worry about.
Guys are like cops or soldiers because they have to go out into harms way (where they can be easily shot down) in order to complete their mission.

What a jerk. How dare you tell men what they are supposed to do, when we all know you would be the nastiest person when rejecting anyone?
Can't find a husband, huh? Well, better get used to it, female behavior has finally killed marriage. The Report of Vital Statistics shows marriage has dropped dramatically in the last five years, following a slow decline over the previous twenty years. A majority of young women today will probably never marry. And, it's all your fault.

For the same reasons that women are, silly
Women hardly ever put themslves in harms way to get rejected in the first place. They wait for the man to do the running so he can take the fall and then complain when he feels dejected.

I believe most guys THINK they're ready for committed relationships when really, they're a bit more assertive when they think they've found a woman that will stay with them and that they can control. Plus, if the woman in question gives in, us men get a little bit of pride from being able to do it.
