There are a lot of people who have no respect for religon, countries, or any other people on here, and there are so many. I just want to know why you can think with an open mind and heart or not post such defamatory comments.

Thanks for pointing out I spell "their" with the other "there". I wouldn't have spotted it sans you guys. Also, I reilize that many may find this place to harrass me about the question, to help you, I will report any abuse so you can become better people. Have a nice day and feel free to message me under the assumption that I will make sure you want to have a poilte conversation :)

for many people this is a release. some questions are stupid as well as a lot of answers. you have to keep in mind the range of ages that are on the site. there are those of us who are here to learn as well as educate, but sometimes even i have a little fun with sarcasm. it's irritating at times and sometimes you just have to not take things so seriously and sit back and laugh. hope it helps.

I have been reading answers and I agree with you. I answered a question for a girl the other day who was pregnant and felt bad for having certain feelings about her pregnancy and her child looking like her step kids, I gave her a honest answer and the other ones that I read probably had the poor pregnant girl in tears and thinking that she was a awful person. I think that people get on here to ask questions honestly without being judged and they should be given an answer without feeling like scum. The old saying goes "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" Right? Thanks for bringing this topic up, I feel it needed to be discussed.

I asked a similar question recently and am glad to know that I am not the only person that thinks this way, just under half of the answers I received to it were the type of people you describe. I wish they would get a life or play on line games and leave this place to people who want to speak intellectually.

First, flaunting THEIR.. not "there"... it really looks bad when you ask a question about ignorance, and you misspell something.
With that being said, this is the Internet. You are anonymous. Of course people will be rude. It can be entertaining. Don't worry about it. Live your life and forget about what stupid people on here say or think. Most of the time I'd almost guarantee they are not being serious! Just live your life and don't worry about Yahoo! Answers.

Yahoo answers provides just the right amount of anonymity to make such crass statements without fear of retribution. In addition, some people get entertainment out of simply provoking people, and this site is really about entertainment. It is a shame some people see insults, rude comments, and simplistic views about sexual, spiritual, and ethnic issues as entertaining.

Because they are looking for easy questions to answer with dumb answers. That way they can get more "points" an increase to a higher level. Which I think is dumb. What exactly is the point behind getting "points" when the points don't really mean anything? The points should count towards something. Just my humble opinion. You know what they say about opinons too don't ya'? :-)

You've pretty much answerd your own question: Because so many people on here ARE ignorant, rude,- and don't care who knows it! But that's the way alot of the world IS- unfortunately, and all the conplaining in the world is NOT going to stop it. SO, all you can do is IGNORE the comments those idiots make- and say something intelligent that the rest of us will appreciate. Heaven knows I will!

I agree , I try to answer nicely myself but some of the questions people ask are really heartless and deserves a rude answer..The best way is to try to ignore them and be grateful you get some nice ones..I believe the nice answers over ride the bad ones in the long run..

I don't think we are all rude. I like answer questions because it is fun and it gives me something to do. However, everyone has a different view on things. If they don't want the answer then they should not ask the question. Sometimes the truth is not want you want to hear. Take Care.

I think they are lonely and want interaction with people. Even if only negative interaction. Some seem to find it satisfying or rewarding. Some come into chat rooms and do the same thing for hours, day after day.
I think they are just immature and comfortable in their ruts.
