I have a blister on each foot, and I play soccer so they keep getting re-opened with all the running. I have had them for about two weeks. They appear to have gotten deeper and there is a white ring around them. Can anyone tell me what this means?

Also, I have been keeping them bandaged up while in soccer, and using neosporin.

blisters are similar in damage pattern to burns. if you are getting blister on blister keep a watch on it. especially if you are active and sweating a lot in sports socks. the moisture breeds bacteria and fungus and can infect it if you don't take care of it. the circles are probably from the moisture. your body is trying to make calluses where the blisters are and will need time to build them. keep them dry and medicated. also, try to wear some socks that breathe for a while, at least until they begin to heal.

Blisters are small, raised lesions where fluid has collected under the skin. They may be caused by an allergic reaction, burns, frostbite, or by excessive friction or trauma to the skin.
i think you have a friction blister...Friction. Rubbing or pinching can cause skin irritation and blistering. Friction blisters frequently occur on the hands and feet.once you determin what it is and seek doctors advice on healing it...buy yourself a tighter fit sneakers...
read the link i provided you...if it is a blister the link well help you in healing them...

They might be getting infected. You should keep them covered with something while you have shoes and socks on and even put some triple antibiotic (Neosporin) on it. If it gets red around it or you see red streaks, go to the doctor ASAP. This is blood poisoning.

I would say they're just 'normal' blisters, but recommend you keep them clean, use a triple antibiotic ointment, and band-aid blister band-aids on them. Also, try to keep your feet dry and look into a different type of shoe which doesn't rub and cause blisters.

It could be an infection , or it may be hardening over and becoming a Callus . Which ever , you need to have it looked at
by a Doctor because you only get one set of feet.

your going to die...lol.., i kidd, it means that your stupid for not taking care of it sooner, stop playing so much soccer, start applying basic first aid to the wound, stay off it as much as possible, wait till it heals and then get the right size shoes before you begin playing again

it sounds like you may have plantars wart! a diagnosis by a doctor may be in order! just for future reference if you apply chap-stick or other lip balm to the area where your shoe rubs it will diminish the friction.
