Could be that you walked without slippers too much and forgot to moisturize well. Moisturize, it should go after some time..

This will sound unbelievable, but it really WORKS!!! Buy 1 gallon of apple cider vinegar. Soak your feet for 15 minutes every night for 10 days in enough vinegar to cover your feet. After soaking, let your feet air dry and funnel the vinegar back into the gallon container for use the next night. Discard all the vinegar at the end of the 10 days. Whenever you bathe and towel off give your rough spots a vigorous toweling to remove the dead skin, followed by Emu Oil and 100% cotton socks to sleep in. (Let the Emu Oil soak in pretty much first) At the end of 10 days, you'll have tootsies as smooth as a child. The vinegar will even take care of Fungus(if that's your problem). Almond oil or grapeseed oil will work also, but not as well as Emu oil, which really soaks into the skin and heals.

you may be some what flat footed. when you are sitting down you may notice that you have a small arch in your feet but when you stand to walk your arch may drop so that your feet rub on surfaces such as carpet, ect...this will cause you to get the same dry skin in the arch of you foot as you would on the heel or toe. you just have to moisturise.

Please see the webpages for more details on Ringworm (Tinea Pedis). If you got diabetes, special care should be taken for the protection of your feet. Consult a Dermatologist.
