Are you trying to print a Word document Or print a Web page? Printing a Web page can result in what you are describing. Select and copy what you wish to print from the Web page and paste it into a Word document. From there you can edit it.

Click START, then SETTINGS, then PRINTERS. Right-click on your printer, and select PROPERTIES. Select the tab that says SETTINGS (it may also say PAPER). Make sure you have it set to PORTRAIT, not LANDSCAPE.

Click the tab that says MARGINS. Adjust the margin area on the page. Click APPLY. Click OK.

Good luck. - Stuart
