Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini brutalized a Korean fighter by the name of Kim. Kim had to lose about 15 pounds to make weight for the title fight. He was knocked out in the 14th round...back when they fought 15 rounds. He went into a coma and died a few days later. Mancini only fought a few more times, retiring because of the death he caused to Kim.

I'm pretty sure bigmouth is correct. Boom-Boom Mancini knocked out Doo Koo Kim and Kim died shortly thereafter.
