Ok, so is the bubble tea fad going to disappear overnight? Some people think it is the greatest and some people haven't ever heard of it.

Who knows.

I do know that it's been widely popular in several parts of Asia for nearly the last 20 yrs.

You can easily buy the kits, etc & learn how to make it yourself at home.

Tried Bubble Tea 6 years ago and get one every chance I get. Be sure to try the ones that are not made from powder, the powdered mixes don't do it any justice. Bubble tea is a brewed black tea which is mixed with a milk and sugar base (probably evaporated or condensed milk). Served over ice with giant tapioca pearls which have a maple flavor. The also make fruit smoothies with pearls, try it , you'll like it. It's here to stay !!

Considering that it is way popular over in all of Asia, and it is just making its way over here, I do not think that it is going to disappear. Just consider how many people from China have moved into some areas. Even if it goes away for the majority of a population, there will be areas where it can still be found.

I tried it about a month ago for the first time [some of my co-workers love it]. I like it.. kinda weird but at odd times I crave it now lol.

Don't know whether it'll disappear though..
