i've known him for about a year now and i was wondering how i could tell him that i love him.............

If you have been going out, then go somewhere special to tell him. Tell him you have something improtant to tell him, then work with that. Don't rehurse what you're going to say because if you forget a line you'll get nearvus. Just have a gist of what you're going to say, and work with that.. Just say whats on your heart.
If, however, you just like him, and haven't really been going out, telling him you love him isn't a good idea. You might want to tell him that you have feelings for him instead, and the best way to do that is just to tell him whats on your heart. Again, don't rehurse what you're going to say. Also remember that if you're not sure he likes you, or if you don't know him well, then it might not be a good idea to tell him. Don't tell him you LOVE him though.

Why don't you ACTUALLY love him before you tell him that you LIKE/LUST him?
Does love mean nothing to you? You want to tell someone that you love them yet you have no idea what it means to love someone.

HAVE A CANDLELIT DINNER AT A RESTRUANT, AND LET HIM MAKE YOU FEEL THAT YOU'RE HIS ENTIRE WORLD AND LATER OWN THAT EVENING YOU AND HE CAN HAVE A VERY INTIMATE AND PERSONAL EVENING TOGETHER THAT SAY'S TO HIM "YOU'RE ALL THE MAN THAT I'LL EVER WANT OR NEED"....BUT, YOU'RE TO INITIATE THAT PART OF THE EVENING AND GIVE YOUR ALL AND DON'T HOLD BACK.
