Go to Barnes&Nobles/Amazon.com and get Barrons "Mastering Spanish" CD-ROM kit and a good English/Spanish dictionary...

Hey... I am trying to do the same and I have a book called "Spanish in 10 minutes a day" It;s a good book. I have learned a lot in the past few times I used it. I agree also find people at work who speak spanish. I learned some from the people I worked with,

You could learn basic grammar, etc. by getting on of those Spanish For Dummies books, it gives you basic sayings and grammar..grammar is important because of conjugations, which are easy, theres just a lot. My teacher also said a good way to get the feel of the accent is to watch one of those channels that only broadcast in Spanish, it helps.

Immerse yourself in the Spanish language. Listen to Spanish music, radio and tune your television in to the Spanish speaking channels.

The people who clean the store I work at are from Mexico and they are teaching me spanish while I teach them some english. It's all good.
